Lake Norman Grooming Academy is a premier dog grooming academy licensed by the North Carolina Board of Community Colleges* and is fully insured and bonded. Classes are taught hands-on in a state-of-the-art dog grooming facilities that allow for an interactive and pragmatic learning experience. Our instructors are all groomers themselves who love dogs, love to teach and love what they do.

Mission Statement
Lake Norman Grooming Academy is dedicated to promoting serious students in the field of dog grooming and pet care. We look to provide students with the skill set to successfully pursue a career in this field. Additionally, we aim to standardize dog grooming practices to promote the welfare of pets and ensure sufficient services are provided in the grooming process. Dog grooming is a very challenging and rewarding career that can be difficult to begin in. The courses offered by Lake Norman Grooming Academy allow students to enter the field with practical knowledge and real experience. Lake Norman Grooming Academy emphasizes students’ opportunity to explore different applications of the grooming career, with programs focused on becoming a grooming technician, dog groomer, and dog stylist, in addition to courses exploring how to run a grooming salon and how to run a mobile grooming business.
